Third Season of House
January 9th 2007 01:35
Well, I guess I should level with you guys.
I've managed to see the first 10 episodes of House season 3. I know a guy that knows a guy. What can I say about the up and coming third season?
It's funny. It's very, very funny. Among my favourite gags were the midget sex joke, some of the things that the new, assertive and interesting Cameron said and the betting between Foreman and House.
But that isn't really telling the story. House changes, in some ways for the worse, in some ways for the better. I would say that seeing him gain a little humility is an interesting change, seeing Chase develop some testicular fortitude is welcome and Cameron becomes alot nastier. Foreman also shows a little more humanity, which is good to see.
I also think it is unfair for me to expound on the new House without perhaps giving you guys a taste of the carrot, and not just the stick. There is a site called television without pity. They do recaps on shows. The lady that does the House entries is brilliant and it's worth reading her stuff.

p.s. I am sorry for the lack of entries and the lack of length of this entry. I have been ridiculously busy. I am thinking of doing a review on a book called The Romance of The Three Kingdoms, by a guy named Luo Guanzhong (I think that is how his name is spelled). Come back soon for that.

My eldest daughter and I love this series, but becuase I cannot watch it on TV [allergic to commercial breaks ... I break out in Turretts syndrome-type fits and large knots in my stomach... and start to vomit green pea soup] *lol* anyway, I have to patiently wait until the entire box set comes out at the DVD stores ...
Glad they kept this one rolling... thanks for not spoiling it with all the details!
Lilla.

Yeah, there are bunches of places where episodes of House can be "obtained".
I can't stand ads during House. We even have a House (hah) rule. No talking to us during House, if it is a new episode. This rule is non-negotiable, and there is no compropmise or exceptions.
And Lilla, don't worry. I won't spill the details. Though I am sorely tempted.
