Tandia, Part1

I am kind of in the middle of reading this one and I have to admit, I am enjoying it more than the Power of One.
It is interesting to see him writing from a female perspective. He isn't the best at it, though he is very, very good. The thing that he IS best at though is placing an outsider INSIDE a situation.
The way he writes draws you in, he doesn't belabour you with foreign details, but makes the foreign the familiar. The characters are as complex as real people are and just as real.
One thing I didn't really like about it, is something KL Almeroth said. Most men are not good at writing sex scenes. Bryce Courtney isn't that great at it. The sex scene between the sculptor and the boxer is a little clumsy, but I am more than willing to forgive a little thing like that.
I know this is very short, but I am wanting to get back to the book so I can write something alot more fulfilling.
See you guys soon I hope.
