Penny Arcade

There are few webcomics that are original, funny, creative and reflective. Penny Arcade manages all these things.
The two main characters Gabe and Tycho, are essentially like Tom and Jerry. They are cartoonish, amazingly violent, sometimes thirsting for each other's blood, other times they are more tightly bound than the old Spartan army.
There is the saying that Art is a reflection of life. And in the case of PA, this is true. The comics are made for and by nerds. But not just computer nerds. Movie nerds, book nerds, tech nerds, all nerds are invited to crouch around the electronic glow of the computer and spend time laughing at ourselves and other people.
They are also planning a game, that will hopefully be coming out soon. Personally, I'm going to be buying a copy, and maybe some t-shirts. I like to support the artists that make the art that I enjoy.
But their comic genius is not all they should be recognised for. They are two men that began what has now become an almost worldwide charity for sick kids. Child's Play is something you should check out.
