Oh, and the new book is available for downloads as well.
Seriously though, I am against this. Writers work long and hard, trying to write a good book (unless you're Brian Herbert in which case you simply take a crap between two covers and call it a prequel) and to have this happen to them is a crime.
Believe it or not, I'm a writer as well. Or at least, I'm trying to be. The amount of years, tears, blood and sweat that goes into a novel is tremendous, and I think if people understood that a bit more, we'd see alot less piracy. Not to say that people have decided to leak the list of people getting killed all over the net. That's just a hideous thing to do to people. Ruining a book for someone is one of the worst things you can do to them. I should know, I have done it twice. Once by accident, the second time was on purpose. It was so worth it though.
So in my case, I am not going to download it. I am not going to look for it. I am going to wait for it to come out and read it.
Like an honest fan of the series.

haha, in all seriousness I doubt the leaking of the spoiler will keep people from buying the book.
In fact online distribution of books for free can help sell hard copies, a university once digitalised all its books and saw a significant increase ins ales.
I bought 'Introduction to 3D Game Programming with DirectX' AND its second edition AND '3D Math Primer for Graphics Development' after downloading their ebook counterparts.
It's a good way of knowing if the book is any good or not beforehand and honestly it's a lot easier reading from a book, less headaches and all that.

On a less serious note.. I'm not going to be able to read this 7th book over the weekend as my sister has first dibs on it so i wont have finished it by the time we go to school on monday and guess what? EVERYONE IS GOING TO RUIN IT FOR ME!!!! so yeah i'm feeling that pain already

yes, there is a certain amount of satisfaction from reading a book, rather than scanning words from a screen.

On the subject of hair, I have hairy feet. Hence I am a hobbit. I am not, however, a member of the most lethal race in Middle Earth, I don't throw stones particularly well, I don't smoke a pipe and I don't burst into song for no reason at all.
I don't really play Wii Tennis at all, so my uber leet skillz are quite underdeveloped in that regard. And Josh hacks at that game pretty bad. I had to kick him in the shins once, because he hacked so badly. We have never played since...
And I never said I wasn't an odd type now didn't I Marty.

I agree with you on this. It was sort of a shame to see the book all over the net before release, and the ending was ruined for me by some jerk like a month ago.
However, I do think it is immensely fun ruining it for people at school, even if it makes you think I'm a bad Christian (oh but we never did really agree on the whole religion thing.)
Oh and by the way, I expect a pre-release copy of that book you just finished.
