R.I.P Dennis Hopper, Gary Coleman & Britney Murphy's husband.

death

Why is death always wanting to collect times three? Good luck, perhaps...

For those unaware, Hollywood-land has been struck by Death's trident over the past fortnight, with the multiple "passings" of screenwriter Simon Monjack (more infamous for being Britney Murphy's other half) followed by actors Gary Colman and Dennis Hopper. My question - why semi-old dudes Mr. Ripper? I've heard a lot of old folk at retirement homes nowadays are calling for a ticket to the puffy highlands just so they can sleep under clean sheets again.

I've never involved myself emotionally with any of said celebutants but it's never easy to hear about anybody passing away. It just brings the mood down and my wrinkles always decide to make an hour-long appearance to mingle with its best friend misery. Plus, think about those close to the deceased - no more 'free subway sandwiches' for them.

Actually, Dennis Hopper was in that epic action flick, Speed, correct? Man that was fantastic thrill-ride (forget about the park swing, this will change your entire perception on making friends on a bus). Though I was in the 3rd grade at the time of its release, I was quite immune to the "adult references" as I was still figuring out what the purpose of my penis was.

I never embraced Diff'rent Strokes due to the fact that I wasn't created yet. I heard it was funny, groundbreaking and Gary was well praised for his acting and comedic abilities. I love black (African-American) people - so much so that I want a black gospel singer conducting my funeral. They are the real soul people, in my opinion and they can make ANYBODY cry with their Homeric singing voices.

It's widely known that in a betrothed partnership, when one ascends to the clouds, the other follows soon after. My grandparents were only several months apart before they left us. Sad indeed. So to all the respective families, I offer you my condolences, truly. I feel your pain - not only am I without grandparents, I've committed to the act of vegetarianism for two weeks now (as part of a 7-week regiment). DOUBLE-pain, right there.

On a much lighter note - everybody please wish Buddha a happy birthday - you may not be to tell by the look of his eyes, but he is indeed, smiling.
